Psalm 2

Why do the nations conspire,
They’re raging against You O God
Despising Your name,
Despising Your truth and Your word
They have no hope for the lost,
They have no thought for the Son
Their cry is against Your holy anointed one
Then shall I stand, and I will proclaim,
Of Your mighty name.
There is no God like our God,
No king like our King
My purchase His blood,
And love is the seal
I know I am His, and He is mine
And all my hope is in Him.
I know Your promises Lord,
These I have read in Your word
Your Spirit my God,
Confirming them in my heart
Yes there is hope for the lost,
Here in the heart of the Son
A refuge is He, the holy anointed one
Who has proclaimed, that captive hearts,
They shall be set free.
