Looking in the mirror of my past viewing how things\nused to be.\nLonely is the word to best describe what I see.\nSadness, stress and salty tears covered every part of\nmy face\nuntil our love had fallen into place.\nIt’s amazing though that I had to go through\nto become mature enough to know\nthat love didn’t love me.\nLooking in the mirror thinkin' 'bout my future\nwondering what it’s gonna bring.\nWill it be happy or sad for me?\nIf I could control what’s to come I would add to my\nfuture a love\nSo faithful&ldots; unconditional.\nShe’ll be my only love.\nAnd finally happiness would be headed toward me\nbut presently I’ll deal with my reality.\nBridge\nThe present is the only thing I know\nand to my future love is where I’m trying to go.\nIt’s amazing to know that I’ve gotta still go through\nsome things to grow\nto learn to love the one that’s gonna love me…
