There’s a landslide over the hillside
And a sea that 'saeps through the night
And the best that this life has offered
Went away
There were times when I was enchanted
By the tales of pirates and kings
But the feeling slipped by the crossroads
And I’ve learned to hold onto all
I believe
I gave up whistling songs
When my dreams had went and gone
And it’s way past the midnight
And I just can’t sleep at night
Anymore
But I will go on, walk into the night
And I will be strong and stay in this fight
'Cause I am prepared when I see the shore
Passed the old bridge down by the lighthouse
Heard the creek of boats by the quay
And the bell that rings out in cosy’s
Says to me there’s nowhere that I’d
Rather be
Thank God for the stars
Thank God for the sky
Thank God for the sun
Tht lights up my life
This beautiful place I have as a home
