Inside the Cave

Our mind is unchained inside a cave of ignorance;
the legacy of lies we must bear with.
We’re condemned to live with our limited thoughts,
always facing the wall.
We believe what we can see,
inside this cave shades are real.
Constant chaos, we can’t light up the way
towards the concepts that make us free.
'One man overcame the pain of ties
and faced the light with his own eyes.'
Who is the one who has reached the never-before-seen world?
'Seen as a mad prophet by those who were inside
once he returned to clear their minds:
— You have to believe,
that my words aren’t fibs!
The light of the sun I’ve seen.
If only a spark I could send you… — He said.'
