Who have been banned from elections though in the majority
We all know that Franco’s dead
but his regime can still be seen

Brothers and sisters imprisoned a thousand miles away
Just so their families have to travel
To a remote part of Spain
Their youth forever lost for their wholehearted belief
and what should be their human right of life lived totally free
When ETA put down their arms and tried to negotiate
time and time again, the Spanish governments too afraid
