Crossed beneath the doubt that I've never shed

These echoes of a battle
Scars I've never shown
I can't see the end
Lost in the unknown
Fighting endless combat

In this forsaken hell

Time has passed, but demons stayed, they never lost their grip
The past still follows close behind with claws that slowly rip
Though I healed on top, the cuts still burn within
Still walking on the edge of where the dark begins
